About this job
Our company is hiring local CDL-A drivers for its private fleet in Hamburg, NY. You deliver to Walgreens stores, run day-cab routes and are home every day.
Pay
- $29.45 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours on peddle/delivery routes
- Average weekly earnings of $1800-$2100, which the company says can add up to $100K+ a year
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- Your hourly rate and weekly guarantee go up at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months
- Paid every week
Schedule and home time
- Home every day
- Five flexible days a week, mostly Tuesday through Saturday
- Early starts between 4 AM and 6 AM
What you'll do
- Hand-deliver freight to Walgreens stores in Irving, NY, using a tailgate roller system or loaded dollies on lift-gate trailers
- Make about 5 to 7 stops a day
- Run both store-delivery and peddle routes, which can change from week to week
- Day-cab equipment
Requirements
- One year of verifiable CDL-A driving, or six months if you came through an accredited CDL school
- Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to meet all DOT requirements
- A Doubles endorsement is a plus
