Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $36/hr + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring a local CDL-A route driver in the Denver, CO area. You'll run freight to and from customer stops and the terminal on a set schedule, handling loading and paperwork along the way.

Pay

• $36/hour

• $5,000 sign-on bonus

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Start time falls somewhere between 6am and 10am, depending on which route you're assigned

What you'll haul

• A mix of freight picked up and delivered between customer sites and the terminal

• You'll load, unload, sort and palletize freight by hand or with equipment like dollies and carts

Home time

• Home daily, local routes only

• Dedicated routes with steady, predictable miles and hours

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum age 21

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• No DUI or DWI convictions in the last 3 years

• No more than 3 traffic violations in the last 3 years

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required, or willingness to get them (renewal costs reimbursed)

• Must pass a pre-employment driving skills test

• Able to get in and out of the cab repeatedly, move freight/pallets up to 2,500 lbs with mechanical aid, carry loads up to 40 lbs up to 20 feet, and handle standard tractor-trailer coupling tasks (fifth wheel, landing gear, pintle hooks, safety chains, fluid checks)
