About this job
Our company is hiring local CDL-A drivers for its private fleet operation, running store deliveries to Walgreens. You are home every day, paid hourly with weekly pay, and earnings can reach $100K or more a year.
Pay
- $29.45 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours on peddle/delivery routes
- Weekly earnings average $1800-$2100
- $5K sign-on bonus
- Your pay rate and weekly guarantee go up at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months
Schedule and home time
- Local routes, home every day
- Five flexible days a week, mostly Tuesday through Saturday
- Early starts between 4 AM and 6 AM
What you'll do
- Hand deliver to Walgreens stores in the Irving, NY area using a tailgate roller system or freight-loaded dollies on lift gate trailers
- Make roughly 5 to 7 stops a day in a day cab truck
- Be ready to run both route types, since assignments can change from week to week
Requirements
- 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience, or 6 months if you came through an accredited CDL school
- Able to lift, pull, push and carry loads up to 50 pounds
- Able to meet all DOT requirements
- Comfortable with frequent pickup and delivery stops
- A Doubles endorsement is a plus
