Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $29.26/hr

Our company needs a local combination route driver in South Houston, Texas to deliver products to retail stores on a set route. You will hand-unload freight, keep good relationships with customers, and stock shelves and coolers as needed. No prior experience is necessary since training is provided on the job.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, starting at 4:00am and running until the route is complete

• Be ready to work extra hours and weekends when required

• Route stays local

Pay

• Starts at $29.26 per hour

• Increases to $30.84 per hour in the quarter following your 6-month work anniversary

What you'll haul

You may work with a mix of equipment including tractor trailers, pup trailers, box trucks, 28 ft and 32 ft trailers, 53 ft trailers, side-load delivery trucks, and trailers with lift gates. Unloading tools include pallet jacks, hand trucks and dollies.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

• At least 21 years old

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory

• Able to repeatedly lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds

• Must be able to maintain a valid DOT Driver Qualification File
