About this job
Our company needs a local bulk delivery driver in Dallas, TX to run a set route to large retail stores. You'll unload palletized products with a pallet jack, keep customers happy, and organize stock in their storage areas. No experience needed since full hands-on training is provided after you're hired.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Start at 3:00am and finish once the route is done
- Overtime and weekend work may come up
- Routes stay local
Pay
- Starts at $29.26 per hour
- Rises to $30.84 per hour in the quarter following your 6-month anniversary
What you'll haul
You'll deliver beverage products to large retail accounts, unloading with a pallet jack and possibly using equipment such as tractor trailers, pup trailers, box trucks, 28, 32 and 53 ft trailers, side-load trucks, lift gates, hand trucks and dollies.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Age 21 or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Able to repeatedly lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
- Must qualify for and keep a valid DOT Driver Qualification File
- Comfortable staying active and working off the truck, not just driving it
