Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $28/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A delivery driver in Waco, TX to haul compressed gas cylinders to business customers using a company straight or box truck. You'll work daytime hours, return home every day, and build relationships with the accounts on your route.

Pay

• $28 per hour

• Potential for two quarterly bonuses

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, starting at 7 am

• Home every day

What you'll haul

• Compressed gas cylinders, delivered and picked up at business and internal company locations

• You'll load and unload cylinders, get signatures on a load manifest, and bring back empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders for refilling

• You may also help out in the warehouse or on the dock

Requirements

• Valid Texas CDL-A

• Valid DOT medical card

• Hazmat and air brake endorsements

• No more than two traffic violations or two at-fault accidents in the last three years (or one of each)

• At least one year of CDL driving experience in the past five years, or a certificate from truck driving school completed within the last 12 months

• Minimum age 21

• Able to read safety data sheets

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs regularly, and 76-125+ lbs occasionally with equipment help

• Able to drive with hazardous cargo for shifts up to 8 hours, with frequent bending

• Able to work independently under deadline pressure

• Must be able to earn a forklift operator certification
