Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $27/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A delivery driver in San Antonio, TX to haul compressed gas cylinders to business customers using a company-provided straight or box truck. You'll be home every day and work a steady Monday through Friday day shift.

Pay

• $27 per hour

• Potential for quarterly bonuses

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, day shift

• Local routes only, with daily return home

What you'll haul

• Compressed gas cylinders delivered to and picked up from business customers

• You'll load, secure, deliver and unload cylinders, get signed proof of delivery on a manifest, and bring back any empty, rejected or unsold cylinders for refilling

• Occasional warehouse or dock work as needed

Requirements

• Valid Texas Class A CDL with current medical card

• Hazmat and airbrake endorsements required

• At least 1 year of Class A or B driving experience in the last 5 years, or a certificate from truck driving school completed in the past 12 months

• Clean driving record: no more than 2 violations or 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years (or 1 of each)

• Minimum age 21

• Able to read and understand material safety data sheets

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs regularly, and up to 125+ lbs occasionally with equipment help

• Comfortable hauling hazardous materials for shifts up to 8 hours, with frequent bending

• Willing to work overtime when needed

• Able to get and keep any safety clearances required for customer site access

• Forklift or Moffett experience is a plus
