About this job
This role covers local delivery routes out of Jeffersonville, Indiana, filling in when regular drivers are on PTO or vacation, or as business needs change. You'll drive an automatic-transmission straight truck delivering medical products and supplies to customers on a home-daily schedule.
Pay
- $27.75 per hour, with overtime opportunities
- Monday through Friday, roughly 40 hours a week
- Shifts typically start between 2 AM and 12 PM and run 8-10 hours, depending on the route you're covering
What you'll haul
- Medical products and supplies, heavy-touch freight up to 50-60 lbs that you'll load and unload yourself
Home time
- Home daily, local routes only
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of recent, verifiable driving experience
- Current medical card
- Able to lift and move 50-60 lbs
- Clean driving record: no major violations or preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- Meets all DOT and FMCSA standards
- At least 21 years old
- Six days of ride-along training with an experienced driver before starting
