Local CDL-A Day Cab Driver — $28.50/hr, Home Daily

Our company needs a part-time Class A CDL driver for local runs out of Sarasota, FL. You drive solo, stay within 50 miles of Sarasota and are home every day. Pay is hourly and arrives weekly.

Pay

• $28.50 per hour, paid weekly

• Paid training included

• Referral bonus of up to $1,500 for each driver you bring in who gets hired

Schedule

• On-call, work-as-needed shifts starting at 6:00 PM

• A full-time spot can open up based on seniority

What you'll haul

• Donated goods in 48' and 53' dry vans, pulled with a day cab

• This is touch freight, so you will use a manual pallet jack, lift gate and hand truck; our company trains you on the gear

• You must be able to drive a manual transmission

Requirements

• Age 21 or older

• Valid Class A CDL with the endorsements the job calls for

• Verifiable Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the past 5, or 5 years within the past 10

• Pass a drug test, background and motor vehicle check (with 3 years of past-employer drug and alcohol verification), DOT physical and road test

• Be able to follow written or spoken instructions and apply rules and procedures

• Some locations or accounts may add requirements
