Local CDL-A Container Driver — $25.00/hr, No Weekends

Haul containers locally for a Houston-area warehouse and distribution company that's been serving import/export businesses and steamship lines through the Port of Houston since 1990. Monday through Friday schedule with no overnight runs (weekend work is possible but not the norm).

Pay

• Starting at $25.00 per hour

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

What you'll haul

• Containers, transported safely and efficiently

• Most loads use the company's own chassis, so you won't need to deal with steamship line chassis issues

• Trucks come from a well-maintained fleet of more than 45 vehicles

• Dispatching is handled through a company phone system to keep communication simple

Requirements

• Class A CDL with no automatic transmission restriction

• At least 2 years of current Class A driving experience

• 1 year of experience at port terminals

• Valid TWIC card

• Valid medical card

• Clean driving record

• Reliable, consistent attendance

• Applicants with a criminal record are welcome to apply

• Port or rail terminal background is helpful but not required, depending on your overall experience
