Local CDL-A City Truck Driver — $33.63–$38.94/hr

Our company needs a City Truck Driver in Gypsum, CO to run local freight routes between service centers and customers. You'll handle day-to-day pickup and delivery work rather than long-haul trips.

Pay

• $33.63 to $38.94 per hour

• If you pick up linehaul assignments, you'll earn 0.7747 to 0.8967 per mile on top of set task pay

What you'll do

• Operate tractor-trailer rigs, including doubles/triples and straight trucks

• Run pre-trip checks and connect/disconnect trailers and dollies

• Load freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, straps and rope, making sure it's secured properly

• Keep up with paperwork, hazmat rules and talking to customers

• Stay in touch with dispatch about delays, arrival times and any equipment problems

Requirements

• Class A CDL with doubles/triples, hazmat and tank endorsements (you can start without hazmat, but must get it within 120 days of your offer)

• Automatic transmission restriction is fine

• At least 1 year of driving experience in the past 3 years, or you've completed our company's Driver Development Course

• A driving record that meets DOT standards

• Comfortable lifting as much as 100 lbs on a regular basis
