Local CDL-A Chip Truck Driver — Home Daily, $1,500–$1,900/wk

Our company, a company operating since 1940 in Coburg, OR, needs a CDL-A driver for local chip truck runs. You'll be home every night, hauling residual wood products on local routes.

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $1,900.00 per week

• Night shift adds an extra $2.00 per hour

• Extra bonus pay for working weekend shifts

Home time

This is a local position, and you'll return home daily.

What you'll haul

You'll pick up residual wood products, check each load for accuracy, and deliver them according to instructions. You'll also handle and verify the related paperwork, keep your ELD logs accurate, and do pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues to management. Staying in close contact with dispatch about tickets, delays, equipment problems, or stops is part of the job.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Able to pass pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug screenings

• Clean driving record for the past 3 years, with no more than two moving violations or accidents

• Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset

• Willingness to follow FMCSA regulations and traffic laws, and to wear company-provided PPE
