Local CDL-A/B Truck Driver — Home Every Night

Our company in Lancaster, PA is hiring a full-time, first-shift Truck Driver to haul waste between facilities and assigned destinations in Lancaster and Dauphin County. You'll run local routes and sleep in your own bed every night.

Schedule

• Full-time, first shift

• Monday through Friday, plus a rotating Saturday

• Home every night

What you'll haul

• Drive Authority vehicles including truck tractors, dump trucks, roll-offs and other trucks

• Transfer waste between our company facilities and assigned destinations

• Stay within Lancaster and Dauphin County

What the job involves

• Operate Class A vehicles safely and efficiently

• Follow our company's rules, regulations and waste disposal procedures

• Inspect your assigned equipment daily and fill out Daily Maintenance Reports

• Change tires as needed, including handling 150 lb. tires on your own

• Pitch in on other tasks as directed by the Transfer Station Site Supervisor or Transportation & Logistics Manager, as qualified and assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Class A or Class B Pennsylvania driver's license

• Able to obtain and keep a DOT medical card

• This is a safety-sensitive role, so you must follow all related safety policies and procedures

Work environment

• Mostly climate-controlled, with some exposure to outdoor weather, dust and strong trash odors

• Long periods of sitting

• Regular bending, reaching, pushing and pulling to work trailer doors, clear debris from trailer beds and door seals, and climb a ladder for tarping

• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and carry it 50 feet
