Local CDL-A/B Delivery Driver — $28.50-$30.00/hr

Our company is hiring a local delivery driver in Houston, TX to run daily routes delivering gas and equipment products to customers. You'll handle freight directly, complete paperwork, and work a 1st shift schedule.

Pay

• $28.50-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience

What you'll haul

• Industrial gas and equipment products, with an average of 10-12 customer stops each day

• You'll count and log product quantities and types for each delivery and pickup

• You'll touch and load freight as part of the route

• Hazmat shipping paperwork must be completed per DOT rules

• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections are required, and you'll flag any repair or maintenance needs

• Building strong relationships with customers and coworkers is part of the job

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL

• At least 2 years of recent consecutive driving experience, or a recent truck driving school certificate

• Hazmat endorsement already on your CDL, or obtained within 60 days of hire

• Minimum age 21

• High school diploma or GED, with ability to read and write in English

• Clean driving history: no preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the last 2 years

• No alcohol-related convictions in the past 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and hold a medical certificate

• Able to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds
