About this job
Our company is hiring box truck delivery drivers to run local routes out of Kernersville, NC, delivering packages to customers safely and on schedule. No CDL is needed for this role.
Pay
- Kernersville and High Point routes pay $165 to $200 per day
- Mount Airy routes pay $155 to $175 per day
- Paid weekly, plus a stop threshold bonus
Schedule
- Five working days per week, including weekends
What you'll do
- Drive a company-supplied delivery vehicle and handle loading/unloading
- Plan efficient routes while following traffic and safety rules
- Confirm delivery accuracy and keep proper documentation
- Lift and carry packages up to 150 lbs to the customer's door
- Keep the vehicle clean and report any issues or incidents right away
- Stay in touch with dispatch on scheduling and delays
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Courier experience is a plus but not required
- Good communication, time management and the ability to work independently
