About this job
Our company inc is a FedEx Ground contractor working out of its Pflugerville terminal and is hiring delivery drivers. You will run package routes in Leander and North Austin in a company-provided 26-foot box straight truck, for a flat $200 per day.
What you'll do
- Deliver FedEx Ground packages to doorsteps and other drop-off points along your route
- Load and unload packages and get in and out of the truck many times a day
- Cover roughly 80 miles per day; shifts average eight hours and last until every package is delivered
Pay
- $200 per day, flat rate
- Paid every Friday
- Five days of paid training until you can log in to a scanner
- Safety and performance bonuses are available
Schedule
- Routes start at 7:30 AM
- Pick from Sunday–Thursday, Thursday–Monday or Wednesday–Sunday
Requirements
- Age 21 or older
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Pass a background check, a drug test and a TSA background check
- Able to lift packages up to 150 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to work on your own and juggle several tasks
- No delivery experience needed; training is provided
- Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply
