Local AZ Flatbed Driver — $30/hr, Home Nightly

This role is with a Brampton-area manufacturer and distributor of steel, hiring an experienced flatbed driver for local GTA delivery routes. You'll be home every night after each shift.

Pay

• $30 per hour, which works out to about $4,800–$6,000 a month

• Overtime after 40 hours per week

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, afternoon shift from 3pm to 11pm

• Expect 2-3 weeks of initial training on the day shift, 7am to 3pm

What you'll haul

• Flatbed loads of various steel products

• Routes cover the Greater Toronto Area, including some downtown stops

• Automatic transmission truck

• You'll handle all load securement yourself: strapping, chaining and tarping

Requirements

• At least 3 years of verifiable AZ commercial driving experience

• At least 1 year hauling flatbed loads under an AZ license

• Comfortable making downtown flatbed deliveries

• Steel-hauling experience is a plus but not required

• Clean driving abstract and CVOR

• Must pass a criminal background check

• Strong communication and customer service skills, punctual and safety-minded
