What you'll haul
- Freight, equipment, and materials to assigned locations
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo, sometimes using a forklift or other equipment
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate delivery records and logs
- Handle routine maintenance and minor repairs on your vehicle
- Help out with warehouse tasks like freight handling and inventory
- Stay in contact with dispatch and clients to keep deliveries on schedule
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean record
- Comfortable operating forklifts and other heavy equipment
- Familiar with freight handling and safety rules
- Basic automotive troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time-management abilities
