About this job
Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers out of Powhatan, VA for local, regional and shuttle routes hauling dedicated freight. Pay depends on the route, and local runs get you home every day.
Pay
- Weekly pay averages about $1,200 to $1,800 depending on route.
- Regional runs average $1,700-$1,800 a week, local runs $1,200-$1,700, and shuttle runs $850-$1,000.
- Sign-on bonus of $2,500 to $5,000, depending on the route.
- Safety, inspection and referral bonuses are also offered.

Home time
- Local routes: home daily.
- Regional Budweiser routes: up to 12 days out, then a 34-hour reset at home.
What you'll haul
- Dedicated grocery, refrigerated and Budweiser freight on refrigerated and dry van trailers.
- Budweiser routes are mostly drop and hook.
- On grocery routes you unload with an electric pallet jack.
- You drive a late-model fleet with advanced safety technology, and many units are serviced in NFI's own shops.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience.
- Age 21 or older.
