Lead DZ Delivery Driver — $73,000–$80,000/Year

Our company is looking for a Lead DZ Delivery Driver to help run frontline operations at its Mississauga, ON branch. You'll split your time between leading and supporting route drivers and pitching in on deliveries or warehouse work as needed.

Pay

• $73,000 to $80,000 per year

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

• Flexible hours may be needed to cover routes or the warehouse based on business demand

What you'll do

• Back up branch leadership to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly

• Find ways to boost productivity and streamline how the branch operates

• Guide the team through daily challenges: solving problems, resolving conflicts, giving feedback, training new hires and coaching upselling skills

• Drive safely at all times, finish required DOT paperwork each day and follow safe work procedures for yourself, coworkers and the public

• Help with end-of-day branch wrap-up, driver performance reviews and team meetings

• Motivate the team to hit and beat sales goals by teaching effective upselling approaches

• Work with the Operational Leader on ways to strengthen customer service

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Class DZ license with a clean driving record

• Able to lift bottles and equipment up to 50 lbs, roughly 200 times a day

• Able to climb stairs

• Must follow our company' Motor Vehicle Policy

• Prior experience leading a team

• Basic computer, data entry and math skills

• Customer service and some sales background preferred

• Strong English communication skills for working with customers and teammates
