Lead DZ Delivery Driver — $73,000–$80,000/Year

Our company is hiring a DZ Lead Delivery Driver for its Mississauga, ON branch. In this role you'll combine route driving with frontline leadership, guiding a team of drivers while helping the branch run smoothly day to day.

Pay

• $73,000 to $80,000 per year

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

• You may need flexible hours to cover routes or warehouse needs as the business requires

What you'll do

• Guide and support branch operations on a daily basis, working alongside branch leadership

• Find ways to boost productivity and keep branch activities running at peak performance

• Coach, train and give feedback to route drivers, including onboarding new hires and teaching upselling skills

• Step in to solve problems, manage team conflicts and support decision-making

• Drive safely and responsibly, complete required DOT paperwork each day, and uphold safe work practices for yourself, your coworkers and the public

• Help run end-of-day branch activities, driver reviews and team meetings

• Motivate the team toward hitting sales goals and coach effective upselling approaches

• Partner with your Operational Leader on ideas to strengthen customer service

• Cover routes or warehouse work when needed

Requirements

• Age 21 or older

• Valid Class DZ license with a clean driving abstract

• Able to lift bottles and equipment up to 50 lbs, roughly 200 times a day

• Able to climb stairs

• Must follow our company' Motor Vehicle Policy

• Prior experience leading a team

• Comfortable with basic computer, data entry and math tasks

• Customer service and sales experience is a plus

• Strong English communication skills, needed for working with customers and teammates
