Hot Shot Driver — Weekly Pay $800–$1,500

Our company in Sugar Land, TX is looking for a hot shot driver to move freight quickly on various routes, with weekly pay of $800.00 to $1,500.00.

What you'll haul

• You'll handle a mix of equipment: tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks and other specialized rigs, including a dually truck pulling a 40ft gooseneck trailer

• Loading and unloading freight yourself, using forklifts or other equipment as needed

What you'll do

• Run routes on time while following traffic laws

• Keep freight secure and properly distributed in transit

• Keep records of deliveries, pickups and vehicle checks

• Stay in touch with dispatch and customers to keep schedules on track

• Check your truck before and after each trip for safety or maintenance issues

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• Prior experience as a truck or delivery driver, ideally with hot shot or expedited loads; 2 years of OTR experience preferred

• Comfortable handling reefers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks or roll-offs

• Able to use GPS to plan efficient routes

• Capable of loading and unloading freight by hand or with equipment

• Committed to safety and following transportation rules
