Haul Truck Driver — Surface Mining

Turner Staffing Group is looking for a Haul Truck Driver to move large volumes of material over short distances at a surface mine site in Lovelock, NV. You'll join a team that values safety, hands-on problem-solving and continuous learning.

What you'll do

• Operate heavy haul trucks to move materials across the site

• Check tires, lights, turn signals, brakes and other vehicle systems before and during shifts

• Make sure loads are secured and loaded according to safety rules

• Keep a paper or electronic logbook up to date

• Stay in contact with dispatch and other drivers by two-way radio or onboard computer

• Follow all required safety policies and regulations

• You may also be asked to run other specialized equipment, such as end dump trucks, center dump units or water trucks

What we're looking for

• Strong safety awareness and attention to your surroundings

• A solid work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks

• Flexibility to adapt as job needs change

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment

• MSHA training is a plus but not required
