About this job
Our company needs a hands-on driver to haul tires around the GTA in a 20ft box truck and handle tire separation work at the shop. Expect plenty of lifting and solo work, in all kinds of weather and sometimes messy conditions.
Pay
- Starting at $22.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Drive a 20ft box truck throughout the GTA
- Load and unload tires, with frequent heavy lifting
- Separate tires from rims as a tire technician
- Work outdoors in all weather, including wet and dirty conditions
- Work independently for most of the day
Requirements
- Valid Class G licence
- Clean driving abstract
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
- High school diploma (secondary school education preferred)
- Employment reference required
- Good sense of direction and familiarity with the GTA
- Punctual and comfortable working alone
- Must have your own vehicle to get to work
- English language required
