Frozen Food Truck Driver — Dorado, PR

Our company Inc. (BHI) is looking for a truck driver to handle frozen and dry goods deliveries out of Dorado, PR. You will drive a refrigerated truck, keep products at the right temperature, and make sure deliveries arrive safely and on time while following food safety and transportation rules.

What you'll haul

• Cold and dry merchandise, delivered and picked up by hand, box by box

• You'll also handle pickups and returns from customers

What you'll do

• Check your assigned truck's condition every day and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Transportation Manager

• Monitor truck and product temperatures throughout the route

• Load and unload merchandise accurately, in the quantity and quality BHI requires

• Rearrange cargo when needed to keep it secure

• Complete deliveries within the times agreed with BHI's customers

• Keep required safety gear (safety shoes, glasses, gloves, etc.) in good shape and notify your supervisor when replacements are needed

• Log deliveries and GEOCODES in MOBILCAST

• Collect and deposit COD payments, and follow up on customer credits

• Fuel the truck and keep it clean, and check for fluid leaks

• Help train new employees in your area

• Follow company safety standards and take part in building new procedures for transportation, safety and the warehouse

• Handle route reconciliation, delivery paperwork, and unloading of merchandise and empty pallets

• Wear your uniform and keep your company ID visible at all times

• Provide strong customer service on every stop
