Flex Delivery Driver (Class G) — $21.09/hr, Flexible Shifts

Our company is looking for a casual Flex Driver in Owen Sound, ON to deliver packages on set routes, check orders before heading out, load and unload the vehicle, and take care of customers along the way. This is an interview position with flexible scheduling based on business needs.

Pay

• $21.09 per hour

Schedule

• Shifts run Monday to Saturday, up to 8 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week over a 6-day period

• Start times: Monday at 9:30 am, Tuesday through Friday at 10:30 am, and Saturday at 8:00 am

• You must be available to work both Monday and Saturday shifts

Requirements

• Full, valid Class G license (Class 5 equivalent) - a G2 license is not accepted

• High school diploma or equivalent

• No prior experience required, though one year in a customer-facing role is a plus

• Expect about 3 months to get fully comfortable in the role

• Able to lift 70 lbs

• Must pass the required pre-placement driver assessment and complete all initial and ongoing training

• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills, with the ability to stay composed under pressure and juggle multiple tasks

• Familiarity with our company Canada's operations is a bonus, not a must

• If you live in Quebec, you need to be fluent in both French and English

• A driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the last 24 months is required for this role, along with review of your driving abstract and performance in interviews and driving assessments
