FedEx Ground Delivery Driver — $150+/Day After Training

Our company (VE7), an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground, is hiring full-time delivery drivers in East Point, GA. You'll run an assigned FedEx Ground route in a step van, and your day is done when the route and your duties are finished, not at a set clock time.

Pay

• Paid on a daily rate, not hourly

• $125 per day during paid training

• $150.00 - $185.00 per day once training is complete

• Paid weekly

Schedule

• Full-time, with route length changing daily based on stops, package volume, traffic and weather

• VE7 runs every day of the week, so you must be able to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday); being open to both is preferred and may open up more shifts

• Not a fit if you can only work set hours or need to leave before your route is finished

What you'll haul

• FedEx Ground packages, delivered and picked up on your assigned route

• You'll scan packages with a handheld device, do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, and keep delivery records accurate

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record

• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience

• Reliable transportation to get to work and a working cell phone

• Able to lift, push and pull packages up to 150 lbs

• Comfortable driving a step van over 10,000 lbs and using scanners or smartphones on the job

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check

• Able to get and keep a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate

• Willing to work outdoors in all weather

• Dependable, punctual, and focused on safety and good customer service
