About this job
Our company Inc., a FedEx Ground contractor based in Christiansburg, Virginia, is hiring full-time package delivery drivers for local routes out of Radford, VA. No CDL is needed for this role.
Pay
- Starts at $160.00 per day
What you'll haul
- FedEx packages delivered to homes and businesses on an assigned route
Schedule
- Full-time, typically 5-6 days a week including weekends
- Shifts begin around 8:30-9:00am and run until the route is finished
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Able to pass a criminal background check, a 10-panel drug test, and a DOT physical
- No CDL or prior driving experience required
- Able to lift up to 150 lbs using a hand truck
- Strong work ethic and good time management
Responsibilities
- Drive a FedEx vehicle safely and follow traffic laws and company policy
- Load, unload, and handle packages carefully
- Deliver on time with a professional, customer-friendly attitude
- Scan and log deliveries accurately
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Stay in communication with dispatch about any issues
