Entry-Level CDL-A Route Delivery Driver — Average $85K–$100K/Year

This is an entry-level CDL A route delivery job based out of Frankfort, IN, delivering food-grade products within about 30 miles of the distribution warehouse, with routes covering KS, NE, IA, MO, and OK. New CDL graduates and permit holders are welcome.

Pay

• Average annual pay is $85,000-$100,000, based on activity (miles, stops, case unloads)

• Paid weekly

• Experienced drivers can earn $130,000+

• Expect 45-60 hours per week

Home time

• Home daily about 80% of the time

• Some layovers (1-3 per week) with company-paid hotel stays

• Schedule varies; routes run 10-14 hours and may include weekends or holidays

• Route assignments are based on seniority; desirable routes typically take 1-2 years to access

What you'll haul

• CDL A day cab pulling a 53' dry van

• Touch freight: case delivery of food-grade products to warehouses and end users

• 5-10 stops per day, with hand-cart, pallet jack, lift-gate, and ramp work

Training

• Two weeks of paid in-office orientation

• 10-12 weeks of on-the-job driving and delivery training

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license or permit

• No prior CDL driving experience required

• Route delivery experience (local, multi-stop) preferred

• Current DOT medical card

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

• Able to lift, push, and pull 15-20 pounds without assistance

• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and read, speak, and write English
