About this job
Our company is looking for new CDL-A holders and recent truck driving school grads to run regional freight routes. You don't need prior professional driving experience, just 120 hours of completed CDL school training and your ELDT certification.
Pay
- Paid $0.55 to $0.65 per mile, based on about 2700 miles a week
- Weekly take-home runs roughly $1,550 to $1,780
Home time
- Regional lanes with time at home weekly or every other week
- Trainee spots open for drivers just starting out in the industry
What you'll do
- Drive a Class A truck safely on regional routes
- Handle pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow DOT rules, including hours-of-service
- Keep accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Deliver on time and stay in touch with dispatch
- Stick to company safety standards
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- At least 120 hours of CDL school completed
- ELDT certification from an FMCSA-registered provider
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a DOT drug test and register with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- No professional driving experience required
