About this job
Our company has an OTR opening for a CDL-A driver just starting out in the industry. You'll run freight across the Lower 48 in brand new equipment, with steady miles and time off built into the schedule.
Pay
- 55+ CPM (cents per mile)
Home time
- Home every two weeks
What you'll haul
- OTR routes covering the Lower 48 states, on newly issued equipment
What the job involves
- Driving a tractor-trailer safely under federal, state and company rules
- Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
- Keeping accurate logs that follow Hours of Service and company requirements
- Hitting delivery schedules and customer requirements on your assigned routes
- Staying in regular contact with dispatch and following their routing and safety guidance
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Legally allowed to drive commercial vehicles in the US
- Professional, safety-minded, and ready to handle an OTR schedule
