DZ Yard Shunter / Shift Supervisor — $26/hr

This is a combined yard shunter and shift supervisor role in Ajax, ON, paying $26.00/hour on payroll, working 12-hour shifts Tuesday through Sunday from 5:00pm to 5:00am, with weekly pay by direct deposit.

Pay

• $26.00 per hour, payroll only

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Schedule

• Full time, Tuesday to Sunday

• 12-hour shifts, 5:00pm to 5:00am

What you'll do

• Plan routes and manage daily transportation scheduling and coverage

• Shunt vehicles in the yard and track driver and equipment availability

• Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling to reduce downtime

• Act as the main point of contact between drivers, dispatch and the warehouse

• Handle reporting and documentation and assist the Transportation Supervisor

Requirements

• Valid DZ license

• At least 3 years of DZ driving experience

• 1 year of shunting experience and 1 year as a yard supervisor

• Clean driver's abstract and a current CVOR within 30 days

• Comfortable multitasking, communicating clearly, and using Microsoft software

• Solid understanding of transportation rules and regulations

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
