About this job
Our company in Scarborough, ON is looking for a DZ driver to deliver and install burial vaults at cemeteries across the GTA. This is a full-time, permanent role with union pension and benefits.
Pay
- $30/hr through the Boilermakers Union, with pension and benefits (pay is also listed elsewhere as $31.00 per hour)
- Saturdays are usually required and paid at time and a half
- Sundays are optional and paid at double time
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, with most Saturdays worked
- You must be available to work Saturdays
What you'll haul
- Burial vaults, delivered and installed at cemeteries throughout the GTA
- You'll operate a boom truck in tight, busy job sites, staying alert to hazards around equipment, power lines, and uneven or wintry ground
- Other related tasks may come up as needed
Requirements
- DZ licence with an air brake endorsement
- At least 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record and current CVOR
- Comfortable with heavy lifting
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service approach are valued
- Open to qualified candidates located within Canada
