What you'll haul
- Freight and heavy equipment, delivered to assigned locations on various routes
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial trucks safely to each delivery point
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to stay compliant and roadworthy
- Keep delivery logs and paperwork accurate and up to date
- Stay in contact with dispatch and clients about schedules or any issues on the road
- Handle minor repairs or troubleshooting to keep the truck running when needed
- Follow traffic laws and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean record
- Previous experience in commercial driving or freight transport preferred
- Comfortable operating heavy machinery safely
- Solid understanding of traffic laws and safety rules
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage your time and work on your own
