DZ Snowplow Driver — Seasonal, $29.22/hr

Our company needs DZ-licensed drivers (or equivalent) in North Bay to run tandem or triaxle snowplows, plow wings, and combo plow/spreader units for the winter season. This is seasonal work with on-call and shift availability required.

Pay

• $29.22 per hour

• Overtime pay when eligible

What you'll do

• Run spreader, wing plow, or combo units for winter road maintenance

• Complete pre-trip checks, log fuel use, and keep winter operation records accurate

• Handle other heavy equipment like loaders, backhoes, and skid steers as needed

• Use hand tools and small gas-powered equipment (steamers, chainsaws, etc.)

• Take care of basic maintenance and small repairs on your equipment

• Load your own truck (you'll be trained for this)

• Keep supervisors in the loop and report any incidents or violations right away

Schedule

• Seasonal position for winter

• Hours vary: shift work, nights, and weekends possible

• Must be available for regular on-call duty

• Outdoor work in all kinds of weather, with travel between sites

Requirements

• Valid DZ license or equivalent, with a clean CVOR

• OTM Book 7 training is a plus but not mandatory

• Prior experience plowing or doing highway maintenance is a plus

• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

• Strong safety mindset and reliable work habits

• Able to lift 50 lbs, and do physical tasks like standing, bending, reaching, and climbing

• Clear communicator, both spoken and written
