DZ Septic Technician Driver — $30-35/hr

Our company in Rosslyn, ON needs a DZ licensed driver to run septic pumping trucks and service residential and commercial systems. You'll handle both the driving and the hands-on technical side of septic maintenance.

Pay

• $30.00-$35.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive and operate septic pumping trucks safely

• Inspect, maintain and handle minor repairs on pumping equipment

• Pump and dispose of septic waste from homes and businesses, following regulations

• Keep accurate logs of jobs completed, materials used and customer details

• Talk with customers about their service needs and offer maintenance advice

• Follow safety and environmental rules for handling septic waste

• Keep trucks, equipment and job sites clean and organized

Requirements

• Valid DZ licence with a clean driving record

• Comfortable driving manual transmission

• Background as a septic technician, plumber or similar trade preferred

• Solid mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot and fix minor issues

• Strong customer service and communication abilities

• Able to lift 50-60 lbs

• Ready to work outdoors in all weather and handle the physical side of the job

• Familiar with safety rules around septic systems and waste handling
