DZ Roll-Off/Lugger Driver — $29–$31/hr

Our company is hiring a DZ roll-off and lugger driver for local work in Etobicoke, ON, paying $29.00-$31.00 per hour. You'll run a modern fleet (trucks no older than 2020) equipped with automatic tarping systems.

What you'll haul

• Roll-off and lugger loads, hauled via the most efficient routes while keeping cargo safe and secure

Responsibilities

• Drive DZ trucks, manual or automatic, as assigned

• Keep accurate logbooks and complete pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspections

• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers

• Take on other transport-related tasks as needed

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in roll-off and lugger work (one section of the posting asks for 5 years)

• Pup trailer experience is a plus

• A Class A license with air brake (Z) endorsement is preferred; a valid DZ license is required

• Clean CVOR and driver's abstract with no demerits or incidents

• Completion of Health & Safety, WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods training

• Comfortable with 13- or 18-speed manual transmissions

• Willing to work at heights (training provided) and to work evenings or weekends when needed
