GFL is hiring a DZ Residential Driver/Loader in Toronto, ON to operate a Rear Pack truck on residential collection routes. You'll handle curbside waste and recycling pickup while keeping safety and service standards high.
What you'll do
- Drive a Rear Pack truck on assigned residential routes
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and trip logs
- Operate hydraulic and compaction systems safely
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Follow traffic laws, bylaws, and PPE requirements
- Work with Helpers and Terminal Supervisors
Requirements
- Valid DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience, or completion of an accredited truck driving school
- Ability to safely operate heavy collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems
- Reliable attendance and flexibility for early morning starts and overtime
