About this job
Our company needs a driver/loader in Bracebridge, ON to run a manual side loader on recycling collection routes. This full-time, permanent role pays $30.57/hour and keeps you active, handling curbside collection and customer-facing work on your route.
Pay
- $30.57/hour
What you'll do
- Drive a recycling collection truck along your assigned route
- Load curbside material into the vehicle
- Complete your route safely and on schedule
- Deliver good customer service as you work
- Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and fill out Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Follow all safety procedures on the job
Requirements
- Valid Ontario DZ licence with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- At least one year of DZ driving experience, or graduation from an accredited AZ MELT program
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (this is a safety-sensitive role)
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Reliable, punctual and works well on a team
