DZ Propane Delivery Driver — $26–$29/hr, Home Every Night

Our company in Strathroy, ON is filling a newly created Driver role. You'll handle propane deliveries to customers, loading and unloading product between the bulk truck and end-use containers, while reporting to the Market Manager and working closely with the Delivery Coordinator.

Pay

• $26 to $29 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, qualifications and location

• Eligible employees can also earn performance-based incentives

Home time

• Field staff are scheduled to be home every night

• Some flexibility in shift timing may be required

What you'll do

• Load, transfer and deliver propane to and from customer containers

• Keep your vehicle and equipment maintained to top safety standards

• Complete required paperwork for each delivery

• Communicate with coordinators and customers to keep operations running smoothly and service levels high

• Follow all safety protocols for handling and transporting propane

Requirements

• High school education

• At least 2 years of professional driving experience

• Fuel delivery background is a plus

• Valid provincial DZ license with an air brake (Z) endorsement

• Clean driving record, free of incidents

• Able to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly and stay active through multiple stops, including getting in and out of the truck and handling the delivery hose

• Comfortable using computers, including onboard truck systems

• Strong focus on customer service

• Experience hauling dangerous goods is preferred
