About this job
Our company in Timmins, ON needs a Pick-Up & Delivery Driver to handle gas cylinder deliveries and build strong customer relationships. You will work daytime shifts with no weekend work, as part of a team focused on safety and customer satisfaction.
Pay and schedule
- $28.00-$30.00 per hour plus bonus
- Day shifts only, no weekends
- Choice of schedules: Monday to Friday 7am-4pm, or four 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday)
What you'll haul
- Gas cylinders and hardgoods
What you'll do
- Take customer orders by phone, email and fax, then confirm delivery slips
- Load your own cylinders and plan your route based on the day's dispatched stops
- Drive to customer sites, pick up empty cylinders, and sort them after unloading the truck
- Help out with shipping, receiving and customer service in the store when you have time
Requirements
- Valid DZ licence with air endorsement, plus a clean CVOR and driver's abstract
- At least 2 years of experience in delivery work
- Background in customer service
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Nice to have
- Forklift certification
- TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification
- Familiarity with compressed gases and basic welding
