About this job
Our company, a long-running family business in London, ON, needs a DZ-licensed operator to run a Moffett truck delivering building materials to job sites, with a path to also operate a Boom Truck once you hold (or get trained for) a 0-8 ton mobile crane license.
Pay
- Starts from $24.60 per hour
- Monthly productivity bonus on top of base pay, tied to performance
- Once operating the Boom Truck, pay starts at $26.60 per hour plus bonus
Home time
- Straight day shifts only — no nights, weekends, or holiday work
What you'll haul
- Building materials delivered to contractor and retail customer sites using a Moffett truck and, eventually, a Boom Truck
Requirements
- Valid DZ license
- At least 1 year of DZ driving experience
- 0-8 ton mobile crane license is a plus (training provided if you don't have one)
- Clean driving abstract
- Comfortable working outdoors in any weather
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Solid grasp of building materials and basic math
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to job sites and provide face-to-face customer service
- Handle order checks and paperwork
- Operate equipment including the Moffett and Boom truck
- Run daily maintenance checks on your equipment
- Support a positive team environment at the branch
