About this job
Our company in Keswick, ON needs a dependable Hydrovac Truck Driver/Operator who can work independently and as part of a crew. You will run the hydrovac truck and support underground utility and excavation work.
Pay
- $34.00-$44.00 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime pay included
- Full-time, permanent position with at least 40 hours a week
Schedule
- Day and morning shifts, Monday to Friday
- Some weekend work as needed
What you'll do
- Safely run the hydrovac truck in line with traffic and safety rules
- Help with digging tasks on construction sites, including work with excavators and loaders
- Check the truck and equipment regularly to keep everything running well
- Work with your team to plan excavation and drilling jobs
- Keep accurate logs of tasks completed and materials used
- Follow all air brake and manual transmission rules while driving
Requirements
- DZ license at minimum
- Able to drive manual transmissions (10-speed, 13-speed, etc.)
- Experience operating a hydrovac truck
- Background in construction, especially underground utilities
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving abilities
- Careful attention to detail, physical stamina and good hand-eye coordination
