DZ Highway Snowplow Driver — $29.22/hr Seasonal

Our company needs DZ-licensed (or equivalent) drivers to run tandem or triaxle snowplows, plow wings, or combo plow/spreader units for winter highway maintenance around Dysart. This is seasonal work with flexible hours and regular on-call shifts.

Pay

• $29.22 per hour

• Overtime pay available

What you'll do

• Run spreader, wing plow, or combination units on highways during winter conditions

• Complete pre-trip checks and keep accurate logs of fuel use and winter operations

• Handle other equipment like loaders, backhoes, and skid steers as needed

• Use hand tools such as chainsaws and steamers when required

• Do basic maintenance and small repairs on your equipment

• Load your own truck once trained to do so

• Keep supervisors informed and report any incidents or violations right away

Requirements

• Valid DZ license (or equivalent) with a clean CVOR

• OTM Book 7 training is a plus, as is prior highway maintenance or plowing experience

• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

• Clear communicator, reliable, and safety-focused

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, plus stand, bend, reach, and climb as the job requires

• Available for variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations

Work setting

• Outdoor work in winter weather

• Travel between job sites as assigned
