DZ Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver — $24.00–$26.00/hr

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Sarnia, ON needs a full-time, permanent DZ Class driver to deliver construction equipment to customer job sites. You'll be the face of the branch out on the road, handling deliveries safely and keeping customers happy.

Pay

• $24.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience

What you'll be doing

• Get equipment to job sites safely and on time

• Load, unload and secure all equipment and products following safety guidelines

• Act as a professional, friendly point of contact for customers on-site

• Keep dispatch updated on your schedule, delivery progress and any route changes

• Fill out logbooks and other paperwork accurately

• Check loads and equipment for damage or issues during deliveries and let your manager know right away

• Get trucks ready for the next day: fueling, washing when needed, and pre-loading

• Support the branch team with daily operations and customer requests

• Stick to all safety and environmental procedures on the job

Requirements

• Full DZ Class license with a clean driving abstract

• Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Know-how in securing different types of loads

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Some familiarity with construction equipment and building materials

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work outdoors in all weather

• Roll-off truck experience is a plus, as is experience with TRAC operation, Systematics, or technical knowledge of CAT equipment
