Bondi Produce & Specialty Foods in Etobicoke, ON needs an experienced local delivery driver for hands-on foodservice routes across the GTA and Southern Ontario. This role is for drivers who physically handle and deliver product, not just drive and wait at a dock. It's a full-time, permanent position.
What you'll be doing
- Operating a 20' or larger straight truck on routes with multiple stops per day
- Getting in and out of the truck repeatedly to deliver orders yourself
- Using a dolly to move goods, plus lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling product by hand
- Navigating stairs, kitchens, loading docks and tight delivery spots at restaurants, hotels, country clubs and other foodservice customers
- Completing delivery paperwork and keeping your truck organized and safe
- Representing the company professionally at every customer stop
This is not a highway or dock-to-dock job, and it's not suited to drivers used to having someone else unload the truck. Expect a physically active shift where a large part of your day is spent outside the cab handling freight.
