About this job
Our company, serving Mid-Western Ontario for over 50 years, needs a full-time fuel delivery driver based out of their Listowel office. You'll deliver fuel to homes, farms and businesses while keeping safety and customer service front and center.
Pay
- Starting at $31.00 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time, 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- Occasional evenings, weekends and on-call work
What you'll do
- Check your vehicle before and after each trip
- Deliver fuel to commercial, residential and farm accounts, following road safety rules and the company's safe driving policy
- Keep delivery paperwork accurate and up to date
- Give customers timely, professional service
- Read maps and follow delivery routes and instructions
Requirements
- Valid DZ license with a clean driver's abstract
- Comfortable driving a manual transmission
- Strong English communication for verbal instructions, reading labels/signs and completing reports
- Good math and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills
- Able to lift and move loads up to 100 lbs repeatedly through a shift, and to stand, walk or crouch for extended periods
- 1 year of heavy or tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
- Willing to work around heavy equipment and vehicles in a fast-paced setting
