About this job
Our company needs a DZ-licensed operator to run a combo flusher/vac truck out of their Bowmanville facility. This union role (LIUNA Local 183) involves daily field work and some travel.
What you'll do
- Run a combo flusher/vac truck on scheduled routes
- Plan and follow daily traffic routes
- Keep the vehicle and equipment maintained and safe to use
- Make sure gear is on hand and functioning
- Keep the truck and job sites tidy
- Build good relationships with customers
Schedule
- Standard hours are 5:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Expect extra hours during busy stretches
- Roughly a quarter to a third of the time involves overnight travel
Requirements
- Valid DZ license
- Prior experience running a combo flusher/vac truck
- Comfortable understanding and following instructions independently
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Working at heights or in confined spaces is a plus
