DZ Flatbed Tow Truck Driver — $23–$25/hr

Our company in Woodstock, ON needs a dependable flatbed tow truck driver for full-time work. You'll handle vehicle recoveries and freight moves while keeping safety and customer service front and center.

Pay

• $23.00-$25.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive flatbed tow trucks to pick up and deliver vehicles and freight, following traffic laws and safety rules

• Check your truck before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and working properly

• Secure and load or unload vehicles and cargo

• Handle customer payments and generate invoices on site

• Keep dispatchers, customers and coworkers updated on any problems that come up

• Take care of small mechanical fixes or diagnostics to keep the truck running well

• Help out with warehouse tasks like tracking inventory and moving materials when needed

• Follow all transportation rules and regulations

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license with a clean record

• MTO Tow License required, though the company will help the right person obtain one

• Comfortable doing basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs on trucks

• Forklift and skid steer experience is a plus but not required

• Solid customer service skills for professional phone interactions

• Background in commercial driving with an emphasis on safety and efficiency

• Able to lift, load and unload cargo safely

• Strong communication skills for working with dispatch and customers

• Comfortable working solo or as part of a team
