DZ Flat Deck Tilt Driver — From $30.59/hr

Our company in Azilda, ON needs a DZ Flat Deck Tilt Driver to haul heavy loads and keep deliveries moving safely between job sites. You'll run a tilt-deck flatbed, handle loading duties, and help keep equipment road-ready.

Pay

• From $30.59 per hour

• Expected hours: 40.0 to 60.0 per week

What you'll do

• Drive a flat deck truck with a tilt mechanism to move freight to job sites

• Load and unload cargo with forklifts and other equipment, stacking and placing it properly

• Strap down and secure loads so nothing shifts or gets damaged in transit

• Check vehicles and equipment regularly, and handle basic repairs when something needs attention

• Check freight paperwork for accuracy and make sure deliveries meet safety rules

• Keep records of deliveries, maintenance work, and safety checks

• Stay in touch with dispatch and clients to manage schedules and sort out problems

Requirements

• Valid DZ license with solid experience driving commercial freight

• Comfortable troubleshooting minor vehicle issues yourself

• Able to run tilt-deck mechanisms safely

• Good grasp of safety rules around equipment and freight handling

• Physically able to load, unload and secure cargo on a regular basis

• Strong communication skills for working with dispatch and clients
